Planning, designing, and sourcing the best plants for a native garden or pollinator plot can be a daunting task. Our predesigned beds make starting a new garden easy! Choose from native gardens for sun or shade, or our pollinator garden plan.

  • We’ve selected native plant combinations for sun or shade that won’t out-compete each other or outgrow the space. Your native plant tray will include 15 plants.
  • Our pollinator collection includes plants recommended by area butterfly expert Lenora Larson. She grows them in her amazing garden and you should too! Your pollinator kit will include 18 plants.

Your plants will be ready for you when the time is right. Simply follow the instructions and design layout to prepare your bed any time between now and planting time, pick up your tray in late April or early May (we’ll contact you when we’re safely past danger of frost), install your plants, and watch them grow! You’ll need to water and watch for weeds of course, but we’ve designed a manageable-sized space and added instructions for creating a no-cost weed barrier.

We’ve more than doubled our flat discount on preordered flats purchased online by April 1.

You can download the predesigned plans and instructions below.
Plants on each list are individually linked to full descriptions and photos.

  1. What size bed and shape are these intended for? Also, are the plants deer/rabbit resistant?

    1. Hi Julie, If you click on the links to the downloadable designs and click to the back page where the drawings are you’ll find the measurements of each bed. Rabbit and deer resistance will vary by plant, but most importantly the site where they’ll be planted. In areas where wild animals have few resources, they will eat almost anything. You can apply repellant (we carry a very effective brand), create a physical barrier, and designate an area of the garden specifically for wildlife to provide them with the food they’re desperately seeking.
