Rex begonia vine

Cissus discolor

Although the leaves resemble a Rex begonia, this plant is actually a member of the grape family.  Red stems grow narrow, heart-shaped leaves marked with silver variegation on the front with burgundy backs. Rex Begonia vines make beautiful hanging baskets and also moss pole climbers. These striking plants prefer moist but well-drained soil and warm temperatures at least 65-70°F in bright indirect light in front of a north-facing or east-facing window in winter.
