FAQS/TIPS/RULES

Grab your bucket and clippers in the barn.

Harvest Tips:

  • Cut the stems as long as you can at an angle, snipping at the “V” on the plant where the stem branches
  • Strip off all the leaves on the lower half of the stem – you don’t want any leaves in the water

Do’s & Don’ts:

  • Please be cautious of irrigation hoses
  • Be aware that the ground may be uneven in spots
  • Sorry, no dogs allowed in the cutting garden
  • Children are welcome with supervision
  • Everything you cut must go into your vessel. Please no “stashing” unwanted stems in the field.

Vases and vessels are available for sale in the garden shop!
