Drift® Roses are groundcover roses bred to stay manageable in size and bloom from spring to frost without a lot of work. Drift® Roses are a cross between full-size groundcover roses and miniature roses — toughness, disease resistance and winter hardiness along with well-managed size and repeat-blooming.
To maintain a size of about 1½-2’ h, Drift® Roses should be cut back once a year to about 6-8” high. Check bushes from time to time in late winter/early spring, and when you start to see new shoots growing from the canes on your rose bush, that’s a good sign that it’s time to prune.
