Upright clumps of slender, blue-green leaves 1/2″ wide. Foliage turns orange-yellow in fall. Stems are topped with feathery, light brown flower panicles 12″ long highlighted with yellow. Panicles darken to chestnut brown in fall as they mature, later fading to gray. Panicles continue to provide interest well into winter.
