Symphyotrichum novae-angliae

New England aster brings ahowy display of violet-pink flowers late August til frost. A staple for the fall garden, beloved by pollinators for late season nectar. Control height and promote fuller growth by cutting plants back by half in mid-June.

Native to most of the lower 48 states.
