A gorgeous selection of a native grown for the striking dark purple foliage which forms an attractive mound from spring through fall. Adapts to most light situations but appreciates afternoon shade in hot regions and thrives in dry conditions. Great for edging and also makes a nice mixed container plant contrasting well with gold and green foliage. Small white blooms open on stems that grow above foliage rosettes. Plants will self-seed.
