‘Prairie Wildfire’ produces 5″ fragrant, rich red flowers with slightly recurved petals and a yellow throat on 24″ stalks. A high bud count ensures many blooms in midsummer. Tetraploid

 

Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
