‘Little Grapette’ is a miniature daylily with 2″ wide flowers atop 18″ stalks. Light grape-purple tepals with a black-grape band, rose-purple watermark, and florescent green throat. Petal edges have tightly compressed ruffling; sepals are smooth. Blooms in midsummer; high bud count. Semi-evergreen foliage. Diploid
Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
