Symphytum officinale
This easy to grow hardy perennial is gorgeous and under-appreciated. Drought and heat tolerant plants grow 2-3′ high and tolerate sun to part shade. Flowers appear multicolored as they mature from pink to blue in summer.
Historically important medicinal herb used externally to heal wounds, ulcers, burns, cuts and bruises.
