The true sacred basil grown in India. Clove-scented leaves are used in salads and other cold dishes. Grows to 18″ high. Leaves emerge green flecked with purple, but mature to heavily mottled with rich purple making an unusual bicolor foliage combination. Flower stalks are purple and sport light-pink flowers.
