This dwarf tree has small, fragrant flowers followed by green and yellow striped fruit that ripens to yellow when ready for picking. Blue-green fragrant foliage is edged in cream-white variegation and adds to the ornamental interest of this tree.
Place in a sunny window indoors or outdoors in full sun to light shade. Use a well-draining soil mix. Move your citrus tree outdoors to a sunny location in spring after danger of frost has passed and move back indoors in the fall prior to first frost. Growing about 6″ a year, lemon trees can be pruned to maintain a more manageable size indoors.
The juice of this lemon variety is not as sour as typical lemon juice!
