Viburnum prunifolium

A large shrub or small tree, 12-15 ft. tall, sometimes larger. Rounded in form, this deciduous shrub bears white flower clusters followed by yellow berries that age to blue-black. Attractive, dark-green foliage becomes reddish-purple in fall.

Fruit is a valuable food source for songbirds, gamebirds, and mammals and can also be made into preserves.
