Lobelia siphilitica is a showy native with light to dark blue flowers in late summer. Native to the eastern half of North America, the late summer blooms attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and songbirds. Tolerant of clay soils and adaptable to many growing environments, it is a wonderful woodland garden addition.
