Native to Central America and Mexico. Grown as an annual that grows 2-3’ tall in a single growing season here in Kansas. Produces gorgeous late summer to frost showy bicolor blooms with of white corollas and longer-lasting funnel-form purple calyces. Flowers appear in dense, arching, terminal spikes up to 10” long above the foliage. Flowers are attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Gray-green leaves have a velvet-like texture. A must-have for every garden!
