Covered in unusual purple daisy flowers with curiously fluted purple tips beginning in early spring. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its spiny narrow leaves remain green in color throughout the season.
African daisy cultivars prefer cooler weather and really don’t like the combination of hot and dry. During periods of drought, be prepared for the plants to gradually cease blooming and go dormant. Cut them back and keep them watered and they will resume blooming in the fall.
