‘Little Zebra’ is shorter and more upright than ‘Zebrinus’ but retains the distinctive gold banding. ‘Little Zebra’ flowers reliably every year in late summer with lovely reddish-purple plumes held about 1′ above the foliage, that fade to a creamy tan color in winter.
