Grassy texture, but not a grass at all — actually, it’s a member of the lily family. 12″ dark green grassy foliage is green and white striped and topped with purple flower spikes in spring. Almost more white than green, it’s best planted in afternoon shade. Also nice used in containers. This is a spreading liriope.
