Grasslike in appearance and habit, but not a grass at all. Actually, it’s a member of the lily family. 12″ dark green grassy foliage is semi-evergreen and produces purple flower spikes in spring that resemble grape hyacinth. Browns in severe winters, and can be mowed back to clear for new growth in spring. This clumping plant makes a great a border. Nice texture.
