Low-maintenance deciduous tree native from Connecticut to Florida west to Missouri south Central America. Excellent shade, lawn or park tree grows to 60-80’ tall with a straight trunk. Pyramidal in youth, but gradually develops an oval-rounded crown as it matures. Glossy green leaves turn shades of yellow, orange, red and purple in autumn.
