Heritage oak is a natural hybrid cross of robur English Oak and native macrocarpa Bur Oak. It’s hardy, healthy, and grows faster than most oaks. An outstanding specimen shade tree, the broad, pyramidal shape stands alone, but can also be grouped with other trees in larger landscapes. Heritage features magnificent leathery, dark-green leaves with a silvery underside. Mildew-resistant foliage rarely tatters in windy locations. As the nights grow cooler foliage turns gold.
