Ornamental strawberry with mounded habit and dark green foliage, topped with deep rose red flowers April through June, and again in fall. Small berries follow and provide food for wildlife. Creeping 6-8″ habit makes for a wonderful groundcover, but is also useful in containers and window boxes. This 1966 hybrid crossed garden strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa) and marsh cinquefoil (Potentilla palustris). Prefers well-drained, fertile, slightly acidic soils in full sun to part shade.
