Nectarines can be used in the same way as peaches — genetically, the only difference between peaches and nectarines is the lack of fuzz on the nectarine skin. Nectarines are also usually smaller than peaches, have more red color on the surface and stronger scent.
‘Flavortop’ sports fragrant pink spring flowers yield a summer harvest of large freestone nectarines with smooth red skin. A top scorer in taste tests, ‘Flavortop’ is yellow-fleshed and red-blushed and ripens mid-season. Great for fresh eating. Superior flavor for pies and desserts. Trees begin to really produce at three or four years old. Self-fertile.

‘White Tiger’ is a very cold hardy nectarine with pink spring blossoms. Fruit is dark red with white flesh, and the name comes from the red
stripes coming from the center stone.

‘Red Gold’ originated in California. Fruit is large, red, and freestone. Flesh is firm and juicy with a yellow color and has good storage life. The tree is self-fertile, vigorous, productive.
