Medium green spring foliage gradually develops showy clean white margins at the tips giving a truly wonderful ornamental show. An excellent contrast plant.
Easily grown in average soils in dry to medium moisture. Plants appreciate some partial afternoon shade in hot summer climates but become leggy in too much shade. Requires sharply-drained soils. Plants are not cold-hardy but will self-seed. As with all euphorbias, the sap can cause allergic reactions in some people.
Native to prairies from Minnesota and the Dakotas to Colorado and Texas.
