Rounded, multi-trunked, typically grows 8-10’ tall, and features, as the name suggests, twisted and spiraling branches, twigs, and leaves. Best grown in moist, organically rich, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Tolerates average garden soils. Avoid heavy clays.
‘Red Dragon’ brings vibrant burgundy-red foliage held long into the season and eventually fading to green and then yellow-gold in fall. Resistant to eastern filbert blight.
