Huge, dark purple leaves! The dark, near-black foliage forms an upright, arching habit showcasing its jet black, glossy stems. The perfect plant to combine with brightly colored annuals in large containers, or tucked into a bed surrounded with contrasting foliage and blooms. Black taro can also be used in water gardens submerged up to 2′ deep. Partial shade does not detract from the deep purple color!
Bring containers in and remove bulbs from soil to store in a cool, dark place during winter.
