weeping redbud

Cercis canadensis

Delicate deep pink blossoms and buds are one of the earliest spring displays. Unique and irregular branching patterns combine with a trunk that divides close to the ground to create a very handsome, spreading and often flat-topped crown.

Cercis ‘Covey’ Weeping branches can be trained from an early age to create a beautiful umbrella of cascading branches covered in heart shaped leaves. These little weepers grow 5–6’ tall and 6–8’ wide.
