Grown as a shrub or small tree for its brilliant orange-red fall color and disease resistance. Clusters of fragrant white flowers mature to small purplish-black fruit used by some in jams and jellies. Plant in shrub border or as a small ornamental tree in full to partial sun. Fast growth rate to 20 to 25 feet high and wide.
