An exciting selection of Iris versicolor from Mt. Cuba Center. Similar in many ways to native blue flag, ‘Purple Flame’ sets itself apart with eye-catching eggplant-purple foliage that emerges in early spring. Dark stems display 3-4” showy, purple flowers with a splash of yellow color above the 2-3’ tall foliage.
