A selection of the native, Clethra alnifolia. Excellent for woodland gardens and wildlife gardens, the small stature of this dwarf shrub makes it perfect for small spaces. This low-maintenance nativar can be pruned to shape in late winter/early spring, but is rarely needed. Pure white perfume-filled flowers attract many pollinators, including a wide variety of Swallowtails. Foliage turns yellow in fall. Tolerant of damp soils and very fragrant!
