Provides an excellent hedge or privacy screen at maturity. Hardy to -15°F and grows well in Zones 6 – 9. This shade-tolerant, non-running bamboo can tolerate some sun. Orange-red sheaths appear at each node on green stems. Grows in a clumping habit about 2-4″ per year.
